SkinAssure Bakuchiol Oil

SkinAssure had a couple red flags for us upon our initial examination of the brand. First, the ingredient list is fairly vague. In todays marketplace where consumers want transparency, SkinAssure does little to assuage our concerns. Secondly, the product only has 0.5 fl oz in each bottle, so it doesn’t come cheap. All that being said, consumers are willing to purchase this oil and we wanted to learn more about the brand.

The benefits of Bakuchiol are typically pretty amazing. While the label information didn’t provide us any insight to the formula, it seems Skin Assure offers additional moisturizers along side of the bakuchiol. Based upon the limited reviews we found on this brand, it seems consumers are pleased with it.

Readers should not assume that Skin Assure is a Top Bakuchiol Choice, but its far from the worst. This oil seems to remain on the surface of the skin, which means most of the cell renewal benefits will be left unrealized. Nothing overly special about this formula or its oil.

To our readers, we recommend you spend your money on a brand that offers more transparency or a better overall value.

Botanipuetic Bakuchiol

Botanipeutic uses active botanicals in their oils, which is a very trendy practice in todays market. Flowers, plants and extracts often have healing effects and can benefit your skin. Botanipeutic oils are scented and users report loving to wear them. We were interested in whether or not they delivered the results they promise.

Bakuchiol is a plant extract and its main area of focus is in the cell turnover process. Oils are typically more difficult to penetrate the skin with, many are trapped on the surface layers o the skin. This formula contains green tea, lavender and chamomile in addition to the bakuchiol.

Formula is nice but not overwhelmingly thoughtful or exciting. Big red flag of us is the lack of a moisturizer. This process of cell turnover dries the skin, adding a moisturizer is not only a convenience it’s essential. Now it may be true that you already use a moisturizer, but make sure you factor in the cost of using both products, and of course make sure your moisturizer works well with bakuchiol.

Some consumers prefer to use oils. If that is you, Botanipeutic may be for you. For us, it’s a firm pass. More effective products out there for less money.
